Meet Corey: 15 Years of Pools, Zero Shortcuts

Peachy Pools is not a franchise and not a faceless company. It is one guy — Corey Adams — with 15 years of experience and a truck full of the right chemicals. Here is why that matters.

Owner, Peachy Pools · February 2026

My name is Corey Adams, and I am the owner — and the only technician — at Peachy Pools. I live in Dallas, Georgia, right in the heart of Paulding County, and I have been taking care of pools across northwest metro Atlanta for over 15 years.

I did not start Peachy Pools because I wanted to build a big company with a fleet of trucks and a call center. I started it because I got tired of watching pool owners get let down by the big service companies. Missed appointments. Rotating technicians who do not know your pool. Upsells on products you do not need. Hidden fees buried in contracts. I knew there was a better way to do this, and Peachy Pools is that better way.

How I Got Into the Pool Business

I started working on pools when I was in my early twenties. What began as a summer job turned into a career — and eventually a calling. There is something genuinely satisfying about showing up to a pool that is cloudy, green, or neglected, and leaving it crystal clear and safe for a family to swim in. I never got tired of that feeling.

Over the years I worked for a few different pool companies and learned the business inside and out — the chemistry, the equipment, the plumbing, the troubleshooting, the customer relationships. I also learned what I did not like about the way most companies operate. Too many corners cut. Too much pressure to sell unnecessary chemicals. Too many homeowners treated like account numbers instead of neighbors.

So I went out on my own. I built Peachy Pools around a simple idea: treat every pool like it is my own, and treat every customer like a neighbor — because in most cases, they are. I live right here. I shop at the same stores, sit in the same traffic on Highway 41, and deal with the same Georgia heat and pollen that my customers do.

What Makes Peachy Pools Different

The Peachy Pools Difference

  • Owner-operated — Corey personally services every single pool
  • Same technician every visit — no strangers in your backyard
  • No contracts — stay because you want to, not because you have to
  • No hidden fees — the price I quote is the price you pay
  • Free estimates — I will come look at your pool at no charge
  • Honest recommendations — I will never sell you something you do not need

When you hire Peachy Pools, you are not hiring a company. You are hiring me. I am the one who shows up every week. I am the one who tests your water, cleans your filter, checks your equipment, and makes sure everything is dialed in. There is no rotation of random technicians, no wondering who is going to show up this week, and no worrying about whether the new guy knows what he is doing.

That consistency matters more than most people realize. When I service a pool every week, I know its quirks. I know which pools tend to run acidic. I know which filters clog faster because of nearby oak trees. I know which salt cells need cleaning every three months instead of every six. That kind of institutional knowledge only comes from the same set of eyes on the same pool, week after week.

I also do not do contracts. Every one of my customers stays with me because they are happy with the service, not because they signed a 12-month agreement with a cancellation fee. If I am not taking care of your pool the way you expect, you should be free to tell me — or to walk away. That is what keeps me accountable, and it is the way a small, local business should operate.

My Approach to Pool Care

I believe in doing things right the first time. That sounds obvious, but in the pool industry, shortcuts are everywhere. Some companies send technicians out with a jug of chlorine and a net and call it "full service." They skim the surface, dump in some chemicals without testing, and move on to the next house. That is not pool care — that is pool neglect with extra steps.

When I service a pool, I test the water every visit. Not with a test strip — with a proper drop-based test kit that measures free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and cyanuric acid. I adjust the chemistry based on actual readings, not guesswork. I empty the skimmer and pump baskets, brush the walls and tile line, vacuum or skim as needed, inspect the equipment, and check the filter pressure. If something is off — a worn pump seal, a cracked basket, a heater that is not firing right — I catch it early, before it turns into an expensive repair.

Serving Cobb, Paulding, and Cherokee Counties

I keep my service area focused for a reason. By staying within Cobb, Paulding, and Cherokee counties, I can provide reliable, consistent service without spending half my day driving across the metro. That means more time at your pool and less time on the road.

My regular service routes cover:

  • Kennesaw — one of my busiest areas, from neighborhoods around Kennesaw Mountain all the way out toward Barrett Parkway and beyond.
  • Marietta — East Cobb, West Cobb, the historic square area, and all the subdivisions in between.
  • Dallas — my home base in Paulding County, including the communities along highways 278 and 61.
  • Acworth — from the lake area to the residential neighborhoods along Baker Road and elsewhere in town.
  • Powder Springs and Hiram — the growing Paulding-Cobb border area.
  • Canton, Woodstock, and Holly Springs — the Cherokee County communities that are booming with new construction and new pools.

If you are in or near any of these areas, I can almost certainly fit you into my route. If you are just outside the border, reach out anyway — depending on the location, I may be able to make it work.

Why Trust Matters in Pool Service

Hiring a pool service means letting someone into your backyard every week. That is a level of trust that I do not take lightly. You are trusting me with access to your property, the safety of your pool water, and the care of equipment that costs thousands of dollars to replace.

That is exactly why I run Peachy Pools the way I do. You will always know who is showing up. You will always have my direct phone number — not an answering service, not a receptionist, mine. If you have a question about your pool at 8 p.m. on a Wednesday, you can text me and I will get back to you. That is the advantage of working with an owner-operator instead of a large company.

I have been doing this for more than 15 years. I have serviced over a thousand pools. I have recovered green pools, repaired equipment, diagnosed leaks, and helped homeowners understand their pool chemistry for the first time. But the thing I am most proud of is this: the overwhelming majority of my customers have been with me for years. Some have followed me through every company I worked for and right into Peachy Pools. That kind of loyalty is not something you earn with clever marketing — you earn it by showing up, doing excellent work, and never cutting corners.
